Academic Conclave on Future-Ready Universities & AI Ethics

School of Management and Commerce Studies, SGRRU and DivIn Pro Foundation in a significant move toward modernizing higher education hosted a high-profile academic conclave titled "Future-Ready Universities: Responsible Education, AI Ethics & Impact-Driven Learning" on Monday, 22 December 2025. The event, organized in association with the DivIn Pro Foundation and Sewa Bhaw Foundation, aimed to position the University as a leader in ethical technology and sustainable academic practices. The conclave featured a distinguished lineup of speakers, including the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Prathappan K. Pillai and a Cyber Security Expert Mr. Manoj Beniwal from the UK Police (Cyber Cell), who provided global perspectives on digital safety and AI governance. The program included a panel discussion titled "Beyond AI Tools: Building Ethical, Secure & Human-Centric Universities," featuring key academic leaders such as Prof.(Dr.) Malvika Kandpal, DSW and Dean , School of Education, Dr. Pradeep Semwal, Associate Professor from School of Engineering and Technology, Ms. Saumya Baniwal, Chaiperson Sewa Bhaw Foundation. Mr. Ishan Kaushik, Head New Initiative DivIn Pro and Mr. Manoj Beniwal Cyber Cell Expert UK Police. Additionally, Dr. Juhi Garg, Chairperson of DivIn Pro Foundation, lead an expert session on how universities can utilize PBL and SDGs to enhance their NAAC and NIRF rankings. “Indian Universities are at a critical inflection point where AI, cyber security, and NEP 2020 converge,” stated Dr. Juhi Garg in the event proposal. “This conclave equipped faculty members and students with the frameworks necessary to demonstrate responsibility, innovation, and societal impact”.
