A Report on Alumni Guest lecture - Aug 2025

Organized by: School of Agricultural Sciences, SGRRU School of Agricultural sciences organized an insightful guest lecture by distinguished alumnus, Mr Vicky Dubey, currently working as Senior Agronomist at Valoya (Greenlux Lighting Solutions). The session started with lamp lighting before goddess saraswati .Dean School of Agricultural Sciences, Dr.Priyanka welcomed the guest alumnus.

The session was aimed at sharing real-world industry experiences with current students, fostering motivation, and providing valuable career guidance. Mr Vicky Dubey post graduated in Agronomy from Shri Guru Ram Rai University in the year 2022. With a career spanning over 03 years, he has gained substantial experience in smart agriculture and precision farming.

The lecture focused on the theme " Vertical farming in the age of AI: How smart light grow smarter Crop and covered the following key points:

The lecture was highly informative and motivating for the students. It helped bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry expectations. Students gained practical insights and were encouraged to pursue their career goals with clarity and confidence.

The session ended with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr.shagun Coordinator, Alumni Cell, School of Agricultural Sciences expressing gratitude to the guest speaker for taking the time to enlighten and inspire the students.
