Stuti Kukreti, a meritorious student of Shri Guru Ram Rai Public School, Race Course, brought laurels to both her school and the daughters of Uttarakhand through her outstanding performance in table tennis. She clinched the title in the Under-19 category at the 19th Minorite Invitational Table Tennis Tournament, held at St. George’s College, Mussoorie. On this achievement, the Honourable President of Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Shri Mahant Devendra Das Ji Maharaj, extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Stuti Kukreti.In a felicitation ceremony held on Wednesday at Shri Darbar Sahib, he also honored Stuti by presenting her with a cheque of ₹25,000 (twenty-five thousand rupees). It is noteworthy that the tournament held in Mussoorie witnessed the participation of 130 students from 17 prestigious schools. Principal Pratibha Atri of SGRR Public School, Race Course, expressed her happiness over Stuti’s achievement, stating that Stuti excels not only in academics but is also consistently achieving success in the field of sports. She added that talented students of schools run under the SGRR Education Mission, which operates under the SGRR Group, are honored and encouraged at every level. In the finals of the Under-19 Girls category, Stuti secured a straight-sets victory (3-0) over Rhea Mamgain of Welham Girls’ School, earning the winner’s title. The school management, teachers, and fellow students also expressed their joy on Stuti’s remarkable achievement and wished her a bright and successful future. The Principal stated that this achievement is a result of the able guidance of the Honourable President of Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Shri Mahant Devendra Das Ji Maharaj. Under his leadership, students associated with the SGRR University and the SGRR Group-run mission schools have been performing remarkably in academics, cultural activities, and sports. Stuti’s father, Mr. Suyash Kukreti, is an advocate, while her mother, Mrs. Kalpana Kukreti, serves in the Uttarakhand State Government.

The school’s physical education teacher, Mr. Anil Chandra Kandwal, guided Stuti for the tournament and motivated her to participate. Stuti’s achievement has brought a sense of pride and joy to the school, and her fellow students are inspired and excited by her success.
