If the candidate wants to go for jobs instead of a Post-graduation then there are several jobs waiting across sectors like retail etc. The candidates can apply for jobs in private as well as government sector. In order to get job in the government sector candidates will have to appear and qualify in various competitive exams. For example UPSC carries out various exams like the CGLE, CMLE, Civil service exams etc. Candidates can also apply for various jobs in banking sector for clerical or PO grade if they have more than 55% of marks. Some other jobs after B.Com are CDS, Journalism; different jobs in advertising, accounting jobs in various firms, Air force accounts etc. Candidates can also work as junior associate in different KPO’s, international trade firms and so on. Tax audit assistance position is another entry job for B.Com graduates.

Ans. Yes, many colleges offer part time certificate courses in office management, foreign languages etc. However, it is advisable not to enroll yourself for any of these during the 1st year. In first year try to understand how your regular course works and you can plan about your certificate course accordingly.

Ans. The University has no special quota for NCC/NSS in any of the colleges.
Ans. You can choose both the subjects in your best four.
Ans. You can change your subject only before the last date of admission provided seats are available and you meet the requisite cut off.

Ans. Yes, candidate must be present on the day of admission in the college along with the desired documents.
Ans. No, you cannot take admission simultaneously in two different courses or same courses in different colleges. In case you take admission at two places, your admission will be cancelled from both the colleges/courses.
Ans. Yes, you will be provided fee concession of about 26% only in total fee, provided you have a domicile certificate of Uttarakhand.
Ans. Yes, you can get admission in regular course provided you have applied in that course / college and meet the cut off.
