The 2nd Day of Induction Program commenced with vibrant Slogan Writing Competition on “Anti-Ragging” and “International Youth Day” themes, engaging students in a creative exercise that encouraged them to express powerful ideas through concise and impactful phrases. Students showcased their awareness on these themes. Following the morning session, students had an insightful interaction with the Sports Officer of the University, Mr. Satya Prakash Joshi ji. The discussion revolved around the importance of physical fitness, available sports facilities, and upcoming athletic events. Students were encouraged to actively participate in sports and were briefed on how sports can contribute to holistic development and team-building skills. The next session delivered by Mr. Pradeep Semwal, faculty SE&T on curriculum and examination pattern aimed to familiarize students with the structure of different courses, marking scheme, and guidelines of the upcoming examinations.
Very Informative Session was conducted by National Cadet Corps (NCC) and National Service Scheme (NSS) Cadets. They elaborated on the objectives, activities, and benefits of joining these organizations. The session highlighted how NCC and NSS instil discipline, leadership, and a sense of social responsibility among students. Many students expressed interest in enrolling and contributing to Community Service and National Development.
Post-lunch, the atmosphere turned festive with a lively Cultural Activity. Students participated in dance and music performances that celebrated diversity and talent. The event served as a refreshing break and allowed students to bond over shared artistic interests. It also provided a glimpse into the rich cultural fabric of the university. The afternoon continued with an engaging session by Dr. Dwarika Prasad, Director IIC. He spoke about innovation, Entrepreneurship, and the Support System available for budding student entrepreneurs in our university. The session inspired students to think creatively and consider launching their own ventures with guidance from the university’s incubation resources. Last session was conducted by Dr. Manisha Maiduly, Training & Placement Officer of our University. She provided valuable insights into career planning, resume building, and interview preparation. The session emphasized the importance of early career awareness. She gave information about how our University’s Placement cell supports students in securing Internships and Job Opportunities. Session ended with vote of thanks by Dr Shalini Rawat, Coordinator of Induction Program.
