The program commenced at 10:00 a.m. with a systematic registration process of newly joined students into different programs in School of Engineering and Technology. This was followed by an introductory session on the School of Engineering and Technology, wherein faculty members presented the University’s Vision, Programs, Curriculum and Career Opportunities. A multimedia presentation was then displayed, showcasing the school’s Academic Achievements, Cultural Activities, and Extracurricular Engagements, thereby reflecting its vibrant and inclusive environment. As part of the induction activities, a motivational video of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam was presented to inspire students with his vision, values, and contributions to the nation. To promote awareness and compliance, a documentary on Anti-Ragging policies was screened, outlining the institution’s zero-tolerance approach, relevant legal provisions, and available support mechanisms. Students subsequently undertook a guided tour of the school’s infrastructure, including laboratories, classrooms, and the library, to familiarize themselves with available resources. This was followed by speech of Dean, HoDs and faculty members. The schedule for the upcoming three days of programs and competitions was announced, encouraging active student participation. The event concluded with refreshments, providing an informal platform for interaction between students, faculty, and staff.
