Brief profile and Achievements:

With over 17 years of experience in teaching, research and administration in the organization, Dr. Kumud Saklani firmly believes that the aim of education, be it academic or moral, should be such that it motivates and inspires the young minds and help them become independent, good and responsible citizens of India. She started her professional career in higher education in Oct 2005 as Lecturer in Department of Botany at SGRR (PG) College under the Self Finance Scheme. She worked as Head & Assistant Professor, Department of Biotechnology & Microbiology for 10 years. She was Coordinator, SGRRCHS, SGRR University for one year and later became Dean, School of Basic & Applied Sciences at SGRR University.

Dr. Kumud is Professor & Dean (Academics) at SGRR University and is also holding the post of Director, International Affairs since Dec 2023. She has published several research papers in national and international journals and 2 patents were published during the years 2022 and 2023. She has convened and organized several events at SGRR University such as workshops, FDP, popular lecture series, webinars, career counseling and motivational seminars etc. for the benefit of students and faculties of SGRR University. As Director International Affairs, she along with her team have focused on providing best possible services for foreign students and also create a multicultural environment wherein there is appreciation along with an understanding of cultural differences which will help develop global mindset and contribute towards understanding and solving global challenges and problems.
