The School of Agricultural Sciences, SGRRU adopted a village named Mehrawana in Chakrata district to promote awareness among farmers regarding improved agricultural Practices and educate the farmers about recent innoivative techniques in the field of Agricultural Sciences. In this regard, a team of agriculture experts of the university visited the village on date 04.03.2022 and sort out various problems of the farmers related to agriculture. The team also provide some samples of vermicompost, mushroom spawn, biopesticide etc. to the villagers. In future, on regular basis the experts will visit the adopted villages.
