School Induction Programme & Anti Ragging Week Celebration At School Of Paramedical & Allied Health Sciences

The School of Paramedical & Allied Health sciences, Shri Guru Ram Rai University observed Anti-Ragging Week from 11-08-2025 to 18-08-2025 in accordance with the directives of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and as part of its commitment to ensuring a safe, inclusive, and student-friendly campus. The celebration aimed to create awareness among students about the negative impact of ragging, promote a culture of respect and dignity, and sensitize the university community about strict anti-ragging laws and measures.

During the week, a series of events and activities were organized IN order to conduct school induction as well as antiragging awareness among students:

• Awareness Campaigns : Slogan Writing competition, Logo Design competition, Essay Writing competition, Short Documentary film on Anti ragging by UGC, Skit highlighting the legal and disciplinary consequences of ragging displayed across the campus followed by Plantation drive.
• Orientation Sessions : Interactive sessions were conducted for first semester students to make them aware of their rights and the mechanisms available for reporting ragging incidents through Skit.
• Cultural Programs :  For Welcoming the fresher students Group Dance performances exhibiting cultural diversity by done senior students in University Orientation Program.
• Anti-Ragging Helpline Publicity : Students were informed about toll-free numbers, email IDs, and committees available for immediate support.
