The School of Pharmaceutical Sciences recently organized a series of industrial visits for students of D. Pharm . These visits provided students with invaluable real-world exposure and hands-on learning experiences, effectively bridging the gap between academic knowledge and practical industry application.
Throughout the visits, students had the opportunity to observe various processes in action, including production, quality control, and research & development. They also interacted with industry professionals who offered insights into contemporary pharmaceutical practices, regulatory standards, and emerging trends in the field. The Visits were conducted to Centre of Aromatic Plant , Selaqui on 11th April, 2025 and Planet Herb. Pvt. Ltd. , Selaqui on 16th April 2025. More than 50 Students enthusiastically participated in these visits.
Professor Divya Juyal highlighted the significance of such initiatives, stating that they are essential for deepening students' understanding of the pharmaceutical landscape. She emphasized that real-world experiences like these are instrumental in shaping competent and well-informed future professionals.
The visits were meticulously planned and executed under the leadership of Dr. Jyoti Maithani Kalra, the Industrial Visit and Placement Coordinator. Students were accompanied by Mrs. Dipti Negi, Ms. Anubhi and Mr. Mukesh Pandey, Assistant Professor from SPS, to efforts ensured that the entire experience was seamless, informative, and impactful.
Students enthusiastically engaged with industry experts, exploring advanced technologies and innovative methodologies. They described the visits as highly enriching, gaining a clearer understanding of career paths and the skillsets required to thrive in the pharmaceutical industry.
