Induction Programme - 2025 (College of Nursing)

The College of Nursing, Shri Guru Ram Rai University, organized a grand Induction Programme on 29th October 2025 at the Medical Auditorium, SGRRIM&HS to warmly welcome the newly admitted students of M.Sc. Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. Nursing, GNM, and ANM courses. The event was filled with enthusiasm, inspiring words, and cultural vibrancy, marking the beginning of a new academic journey for the students.

The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing the light of wisdom and learning. The ceremony was graced by Prof. Dr. G. Ramalakshmi (Dean, College of Nursing), Dr. Malvika Kandpal (Dean, Student Welfare), and Dr. Sanjay Sharma (Controller of Examinations) as the chief guests. Their presence brought grace and motivation to the occasion.

After the lamp-lighting ceremony, Prof. Dr. G. Ramalakshmi delivered the welcome address, extending a warm greeting to the new students. She emphasized the importance of discipline, dedication, and compassion in nursing and encouraged students to strive for excellence in both academic and clinical settings.

The Chief Guest, Dr. Malvika Kandpal, shared her inspiring words, motivating the students to take pride in their chosen profession and to serve humanity with empathy and commitment. She highlighted the essential role nurses play in the healthcare system and the immense respect the profession commands.

The event proceeded with course-wise introductions and orientation sessions conducted by the respective class coordinators:

Each coordinator oriented the students about their course curriculum, clinical training schedules, evaluation methods, and institutional rules, providing a clear overview of their academic path.

The event was beautifully anchored by Mrs. Deepti and Mrs. Dipali, who conducted the programme with confidence and charm, maintaining a lively and engaging flow throughout the event.

Adding a touch of cultural celebration, the students presented graceful dance performances and melodious songs, creating a joyful and vibrant atmosphere. The performances were appreciated by the audience and added warmth to the day’s proceedings.

The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Mrs. Nitasha, who expressed gratitude to all dignitaries, faculty members, organizing committee, and students for their cooperation and contribution to making the event a grand success.
