College of Nursing Celebrated Freshers’ Party - 2025

With the blessings of Shri. Devender Das ji Maharaj, President (SGRRU). The Shri Guru Ram Rai University, College of Nursing (SGRRU) celebrated freshers’ party with great enthusiasm and joy on Friday i.e 14th November 2025. The event was organized by the college of nursing in which the new students participated wholeheartedly.

The program began with Saraswati Vandana and the lighting of the lamp by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Dr. Prathapan K. Pillai Sir, Principal College of Nursing Prog. Dr. G. Ramalakshmi ma’am, faculty members and Senior students welcomed the newcomers with a ceremonial tilak. Colourful attire, energetic dance performances, melodious singing, and creative presentations filled the auditorium with thunderous applause.

Selection of Miss Fresher and Mr. Fresher Remained the Centre of Attraction

The main highlight of the freshers’ party was the Miss and Mr. Fresher competitions for various courses:

Through ramp walks, self-introductions, and a question-answer round, participants showcased their talents wonderfully. The judging panel selected the winners based on personality, confidence, and communication skills. Additional to this, the faculty members too performed a melodious song to entertain the students.
