Menstrual Week Awareness from 17th to 22nd February 2025

The School of Management and Commerce Studies, Shri Guru Ram Rai University, organized Menstrual Week Awareness from 17th to 22nd February 2025 to educate students on menstrual health and hygiene. The objective of this initiative was to spread awareness about menstrual hygiene management, break taboos surrounding menstruation, and promote open discussions about reproductive health. Various activities, including interactive sessions, expert talks, and awareness drives, were conducted to enhance knowledge, encourage good hygiene practices, and foster a supportive environment for menstrual health. A Pledge was taken by the students along with Hospital Administration students. The students learnt and responded positively. The participants were from the departments BBA, B.Com., MBA, M.Com. along with the organizing team from BHA and MHA.

Faculty Development Program organized by National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research, Chandigarh (NITTTR), FDP was organized on the topic of “Project Management for Business Startup” with School of Management and Commerce Studies of SGRR University as a remote centre. 

Under the Faculty Development Program organized by National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research, Chandigarh (NITTTR), FDP was organized on the topic of “Project Management for Business Startup”. School of Management and Commerce Studies of SGRR University played an important role in this as a remote centre. Faculty members and research scholars of School of Management and Commerce Studies participated in the online remote centre. In this five-day FDP, which started on the 17th February 2025, while teachers got to learn a lot of new things, research scholars got to know about the ways to start and grow a business. Not only this, many questions arising in the minds of teachers and research scholars regarding startups were also resolved by experts in the FDP. Important principles related to the management and operation of startups were also discussed in the FDP, which proved to be beneficial not only for academics but also for researchers and startup managers. The organizers believe that if someone starts his own business with this information, it will be of great benefit. Participants from outside also participated in the FDP. School Dean Prof. Sonia Gambhir said that she thanks Vice Chancellor Prof. Kumud Saklani Madam for providing this opportunity. She will continue to organize such programs under the able leadership of Vice Chancellor Madam. Prof. Vipul Jain, Dr. Suchita Gera, Dr. Monika Bangari, Dr. Mamta Bansal, Dr. Mini Srivastava and other faculty and research students were present in the FDP.
