(Khelotsav-2022) SGRR Patel Nagar Campus Wins Over Pathri Bagh Campus

- IN THROW BALL, SCHOOL OF HUMANITIES & SOCIAL SCIENCES AND COLLEGE OF NURSING REACH THE FINAL 

Dehradun. 15th December 2022. The Second Day of the Annual Sports Meet ‘Khelotsav - 2022’ of Shri Guru Ram Rai University was dominated with the interesting competitions of Cricket, Volleyball, Throw Ball, Carrom and Table Tennis. Both in the Boys as well as Girls matches, students exhibited their physical strength and ensured places in the Next round, Semifinal and Final. In Cricket, the faculty members of SGRR University’s Patel Nagar Campus defeated SGRR University’s Pathri Bagh Campus. 

On Thursday, the formal opening of the Second Day of ‘Khelotsav - 2022’ was done by the Vice Principal, SGRR Medical College, Dr. Lalit Kumar Varshney and Dr. M.A. Beg on the Sports Ground of Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical & Health Sciences. In the Volleyball match, the team of School of Basic & Applied Sciences defeated School of Humanities & Social Sciences by 2-0. In the Second match, team of School of Computer Application & Information Technology defeated the School of Agricultural Sciences by 2-0. In the third match, SGRR Medical College won. In the last match of Volleyball, School of Management & Commerce Studies defeated College of Nursing and reached the next round. In the Volleyball match, Dr. Saurabh Gulati played the role of Coordinator.

In the Throw Ball, School of Humanities & Social Sciences and College of Nursing emerged victorious over their respective rivals and made their places confirmed in the final. In Carrom (Girls) School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Anushka, Manisha and Rishika. In Carrom (Boys), Abhishek Sharma, Tushar Kumar and Mohit Tiwari reached the Second Round. In Carrom (Doubles) Kabir Kumar and Kanishk Nibal qualified. In Table Tennis, Singles and Doubles a total of 8 matches were played. Dr. Yogesh Joshi played the role of Coordinator.
