The Department of Management was established in 1994, since then, it has been producing aspiring and dynamic managers for the industry. In 2017, the Department of Management was further extended to the School of Management and Commerce Studies (SMCS) under the umbrella of at Shri Guru Ram Rai University (SGRRU) to cater all the sectors of society.

SMCS offers a variety of full-time programs at the postgraduate and undergraduate levels. These programs are designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to succeed in today's competitive global marketplace. SMCS also takes pride in offering its students a challenging, enjoyable, and student-oriented environment.
