School of Agricultural Sciences owns well equipped modern laboratories with latest instruments for undergraduate, post-graduate and research students. The department has a diversified outlook of 25 acres of Farm area. It includes facility for Hi-Tech Polyhouse, Nursery, Mushroom Unit,Sericulture lab,Apiary,Practical crop production block, field crop production block, vegetable production block, Medicinal and aromatic plant block, Ornamental block, Rose block etc. This farm is managed by Agriculture & Horticulture students during their course work under the supervision of expert faculty members.

  • School of Agricultural Sciences (SAS) focuses on the holistic and overall development of students. Here, highly qualified and experienced faculty members share their knowledge to the students and uses advance learning methodology to enhance the learning experience of students.
  • The campus is well equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity and offers extracurricular activities at regular basis. 
  • The department provides practical hands-on learning as much as theoretical learning, to better prepare students for real world scenarios.
  • The campus also has an agricultural farm attached with the campus along with state of the art laboratories.   • Cow based agriculture:- Cow based agriculture will be promoted Production through preparations of products from cow dung and cow urine. The concept of dry dairying will also be promoted. Trials on Jeevamrit from cow urine has been conducted on paddy, finger millets crops for enhancing production.
  • Development of Nursery : Nursery should will be well developed and well equipped for medicinal, aromatic, ornamental and fruits. For this mother beds has been prepared and its multiplication followed on the basis of season and requirement.  
  • Bio fertilizer:- Bio fertilizer should be used as a component of organic farming and the same will be used for the fortification of existing organic manure (Vermicompost/FYM). So that quantity and quality of agricultural produce can be improved. For this purpose we have initiated for collaboration with Department of Microbiology, School of Basic and Applied Sciences. It was decided to culture bacterial strains in liquid culture and trails will be conducted in agriculture fields. Pseudomonas bio fertilizer is under trails.
  • Seed storage facility:- Seeds of all agriculture produce should be stored for growing new season crops. We should develop a proper storage house. For the same, seed store ( 7feet x 3.5 feet size)  at bombaybagh is under construction.
  • Training and Extension Program(under students READY programe-Earn while you learn):Education and public awareness generation among various sections and age groups of society. Developing agriculture-based entrepreneurship models and imparting skill development training to the potential youth leading to self-employment. Conducting  training programs, workshops, conferences, etc. in areas of Health, Agriculture and Nutrition ranging from short to medium term including certificate courses. Collaborations with institutes/ industries for promoting awareness about research, innovations in various field.
  • Plantation Drive: Plantation drive by students for celebration of their birthday in view of environment conservation.
