Admission Rules

Information Bulletin and Application Form

Information bulletin along with application form can be obtained from Principal’s office, SGRRIM&HS, College of Paramedical Sciences, Administrative Block, Patel Nagar, Dehradun either in Cash payment of Rs. 1000 or by post on sending a Demand Draft of Rs. 1050/- drawn in favour of SGRRIMHS, payable at Dehradun.

Filling up and Submission of Application Form
  • Candidateare advised to verify carefully their own eligibility before applying for registration.
  • Candidate seeking admission must fill in all particulars required carefully in their own hand writing in original prescribed application form only. Photostat/ Xerox copies of application form will not be accepted.
  • The name of the candidate must be entered in Block letters in exactly the same fashion in application form as mentioned in qualifying examination certificate.
  • If candidate applies for more than one course, a separate application form should be submitted for each course.

The application form complete in all respects should be sent by registered post/ speed post/ courier/ by hand so as to reach: Principal’s office, Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical and Health Sciences, College of Paramedical Sciences, Patel Nagar, Dehradun- 248001 (INDIA) Accompanied by following documents.

 
  • Four recent pass-port size photographs of the candidate.
  • A photocopy of Matriculation or Board Certificate showing the date of birth (no other evidence of candidate’s date of birth shall be accepted).
  • A photocopy of Mark Sheet from the University/ Board of qualifying examination with the prescribed subjects. The year of passing such an examination should be indicated.
  • A photocopy of Transfer Certificate of the last college attended.
  • A photocopy of domicile certificate.
  • A photocopy of Graduation Degree with related courses for PG Courses admission.
  • A photocopy of address proof.

Admission Procedures

  • Admission to Under Graduation courses BMLT/BPT/B.Sc Optometry/BMRIT and B.Sc Medical Microbiology will be given on the basis of merit of class 12th score and Post Graduation courses shall be given on the basis of marks obtained in graduation.
  • The aggregate percentage of marks obtained in PCM / PCB in XII standard / equivalent should be calculated and should not be rounded off to the nearest integer. 
  • The admission offered to a candidate who has been provisionally admitted to a program will stand cancelled if he / she does not submit the relevant documents in original / photocopy pertaining to admission (such as Marks Statements, Transfer Certificate, Conduct Certificate, etc.) to the Admissions Officer before the date stipulated by the University.
  • Admissions to various programs will however be subject to verification of facts from the original certificates / documents of the candidates. In case any discrepancy is noticed, even at a later point of time after admission, The University reserves the right to add / delete programs depending on the viability to offer the same.
  • Accommodation in the College hostels will be subject to availability and allocation will be done only after the payment of full Course fees and enrollment.

Admission Counseling

  • Candidates shall be called for counseling on the basis of preliminary merit list prepared on the basis marks obtained in written test /aptitude /qualifying examination.
  • Allotment of different courses will be made on the basis of merit cum choice.
  • If seat remain vacant in first counseling, a second round of counseling will be conducted to fill these seats.
  • Counseling committee reserves full right for taking a decision and it will be final and binding in all respects.

Following original certificates are to be produced and submitted at the time of counseling.

  • Matriculation Certificate
  • Mark sheet of Qualifying Examination
  • Transfer Certificate
  • Admit Card
  • Domicile Certificate

2. Fee & Security Deposits

Following is the fee and security deposit schedule for candidate selected for admission to different courses. The payment is to be made at the time of admission/ commencement of subsequent academic years.
