Prof. (Dr.) Parul Goyal is presently working as Professor  & Dean in School of Computer Applications & Information Technology, Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. He has excellent academic record with First Class Degree all through B.Tech, PGDBM (M.B.A.), M.Tech and Ph.D. He is having twenty seven years of rich experience in colleges and university of repute. 09 Years Experience as Director in Engineering Colleges. He has published total 99 research papers in national and international journals and conferences. 17 papers are in Scopus Indexed Journals like Elsevier, Science Direct, John Willey and IEEE. 23 papers are in International Journals, 07 papers are in International Conference, 52 Papers in National Conference. He is a life member of Indian Society for Technical Education ISTE. He has conducted 263 International Conference, National Conference, Short term training courses, Work shop, Seminar, Expert Talk and Co-Curricular events. He has participated in 63 Short term training courses, Work shop, Seminar, Expert Talk and Co-Curricular events. He has participated in 59 International Conference & National Conference. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Internet of Things, Computer Networks, Digital Image Processing, Wireless Communications, Microprocessors, Micro Controllers, Embedded Systems and Robotics.

Achievements

His achievements are: Remedial classes for the weaker students and orientation classes for the newly admitted students were taken up and successfully completed. Many of the students who attended remedial classes got good marks & good placements too. The academic output of the students also improved considerably in aspects like pass percentage, ranks in University, numbers qualified in GATE and CAT examinations. Delivered several lectures to students on topics beyond syllabus and designed several new experiments.
